The RFid applications in industry are manifold, from the automotive sector, oil and natural gas industry, food industry, textile industry, the semiconductor industry, among many others.

By implementing an RFid system it is possible the identification of something as simple as tools that in large industries facilitates the process of maintenance, replacement and implementation. Other advantages refer to obtaining a better speed and service quality and provide high reliability in the identification of containers, packages and bottles, primarily chemicals and gases, in which any gap, for example, improperly sealed container may cause serious damage.

In industry, there is a product implementation management systems via bar code, however the use of the bar code is not at all reliable. Through the RFid tag it can be stored information such as the type of container, its contents, volume, wherein the maximum pressure, and other important information to ensure greater control and safety, contrary to what happens with the use of bar codes.

In the automotive industry, the implementation of RFid technology is used, for example, in the automation of processes that allows greater efficiency of those processes like the assembly, it facilitates the checking of components and assembly instructions.

In the semiconductor industry there is an overwhelming need in keeping clean the aseptically environments, making the RFid technology the ideal solution to implement since it completely eliminates the need for human manipulation in data collection. The forced interruption in production require high costs in this industry, considering that can be produced in a week about 200 million chips. At this level of production, an interruption means high losses. In the aseptic room there are multiple sites of semiconductors moving continuously, and one of the common errors consists in the fact that through human manipulation semiconductors are placed on trays which they do not belong to the corresponding lot. By identifying these trays with an RFid tag, the accuracy of the process is higher, thereby reducing the probability of error.

General advantages in the implementation of RFid technology in the industry:

3. Increased visibility of the supply chain;
4. Reduction of inventories;
