Setting simple goals - The RFid project will be based on a set of clear objectives, considering the results the client wants to achieve. This will allow the creation of a solid structure for the final decision as regards the architecture of the RFid system.
The problem of physics - The key aspect to the success of any RFid system is the ability of the communications between tag and reader. If the reader cannot communicate with the tag, then the RFid system will not work properly. Tags must be able to transmit data successfully to readers for the RFid solution can work properly. However, the tag-reader communication efficiency is managed by the physics of radio frequency. A scientific approach to tag selection and the optimization of the reader can maximize the reading performance over time. A proper selection of equipment and development of specifications, is a fundamental factor for success;
Change processes - It’s inevitable the change of many processes for the implementation of an RFid solution. The project is expected to converge with business goals, but to achieve this it’s important the changing of processes to improve the reading performance. Thus, the RFid system will meet customer needs. It can also carry up to a change or adjustment of processes based on a restriction in the RFid middleware to reduce implementation time, complexity and cost. The RFID technology must address business objectives and processes and not the inverse;
Right system - Users/employees need to operate the RFid software, therefore, it is pertinent to apply integrated solutions, that is, devices and enterprise systems need to integrate with the RFid software;
Interdependence - RFid solution for a fully functioning, Physics, Process and System, which we designate: PPS Triangle, need to work together. The interdependence of these three components is a factor of great importance.
